1. The data controller

FIERE DI PARMA SPA with headquarters in Via delle Esposizioni 393/A – 43122 Parma (PR) – Vat no. 00162790349, hereinafter “Controller”, provides to the “Data subject”, information on the purposes and methods of processing personal data (“Data”) concerning him or her in accordance with the requirements of current regulations.

2. Purposes
The Data supplied by the Data subject, including through the completion of special forms, is used for the fulfilment of the following purposes:

i. registration of entry and management of access authorisation;
ii. obligations regarding participation in the show, provision of associated services and fulfilment of administrative, bookkeeping and tax related requirements;
iii. security reasons.

i. provision of information services subsequent to the show; marketing and/or customer satisfaction, including through partners, exhibitors, organisers and/or operators involved in the show


3. Method
Data processing will be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and minimisation of data; it will be carried out, using both manual and automated means, by internal or external staff who have been specifically authorised through contract clauses and appropriately trained. The Data Controller will put in place technical and organisational measures appropriate to the level of risk.


4. Communication to categories of recipients
The Data will be communicated to:
• Purpose point 2 A) – service partners needed for participation in the exhibition, as well as for fulfilment of normal administrative/bookkeeping functions and for the security of the event;
• Purpose point 2B) – partners, exhibitors, organisers, operators involved in the exhibition on the basis of interests shown during the event for their independent processing, for which the Data Controller cannot be responsible; to marketing companies specifically authorised and trained by the Data Controller for customer satisfaction activities regarding the event.


5. Storage period
Data concerning the Data Subject will be stored for a period of 10 years, in case of non use of the data, or until the Data Subject’s refusal: this can be expressed at any time, as further explained in the section on “rights of the data subject”.


6. Data transfer outside the EU
There are no structured transfers of Data to non-European countries. For some organizational needs it is possible that cloud services are activated located outside the EU, in these cases it will be the responsibility of the Data Controller to comply with all the provisions of Chapter V of the 2016/679 EU Regulation in order to ensure an adequate level of protection. If possible, priority will always be given to countries declared adequate by the European Commission or that have provided appropriate mechanisms (EU-US Privacy Shield)


7. Rights of the data subject
The data subject has the right to request from the Data Controller access to data, rectification or erasure of such data as well as restriction of or objection to processing.

8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
If you believe that processing of data concerning you violates your dignity, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant Supervisory Authority.


9. Nature of provision and consent
The provision of Data for the purposes under point 2 A) is MANDATORY for the fulfilment of obligations and services connected with participation in the Show, with the supply of associated services and fulfilment of administrative, bookkeeping and tax related requirements. A refusal will make it impossible for Fiere di Parma S.p.A. to admit the visitor to the Show and to provide the associated services. Consent to processing for the purposes under point 2 B) is always optional.


10. Photos Videos
We are hereby informing you that by accessing the exhibition grounds, you accept the possibility of being accidentally filmed by audiovisual equipment belonging to various subjects. Considering the characteristics of this type of event, we cannot guarantee exclusion from such activities. Fiere di Parma too may produce short films featuring the various shows, sometimes for reporting purposes, and it may occur that identifiable subjects are accidentally filmed. Any photos or videos taken by the Data Controller will always be checked before publication to ensure that the possible impact on the visitor’s personal data is as limited as possible.

The retention periods of navigation data are expressly indicated in the Cookie Policy and in the specific information contained on the Data Controller’s Site.

The explicit, optional and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses, as well as the compilation and forwarding of the forms on the Data Controller’s website, entails the acquisition by the latter of the contact data of the interested party and of all any personal data included in the communications and/or inserted in the aforementioned forms. The data acquired through the aforementioned method will be used by the Data Controller to verify the interested party’s request.

the provision of data is optional or necessary depending on the specific request made by the interested party related to the purpose for which the data is processed. Failure to provide the data marked with the symbol* or wording (required) will make it impossible to obtain what is requested or to use the services of the data controller.

The Data Controller may use the contact data of the interested party, subject to the latter’s consent, for the following purposes:

  • direct marketing;
  • market research, direct sales, satisfaction surveys;

Attraverso i predetti report il Titolare potrà conoscere, per esempio: il numero dei lettori, delle aperture, degli utenti che hanno selezionato il contenuto e il numero complessivo dei “clic”; i dispositivi ed i sistemi operativi utilizzati per leggere la comunicazione; il dettaglio sull’attività dei singoli utenti; il dettaglio delle e-mail inviate, e-mail recapitate e non, e di quelle inoltrate; Tutti questi dati sono utilizzati allo scopo di confrontare, ed eventualmente migliorare, i risultati delle comunicazioni.

Il conferimento dei dati è facoltativo. L’interessato potrà revocare il proprio consenso in qualunque momento senza pregiudicare i trattamenti effettuati dal Titolare sino al momento della revoca.

I dati di natura personale forniti saranno condivisi con soggetti, che tratteranno i dati in qualità di responsabili (art. 28 del Reg. UE 2016/679) e/o in qualità di persone fisiche che agiscono sotto l’autorità del Titolare e del Responsabile (art. 29 del Reg. UE 2016/679), per le finalità sopra elencate.


A titolo esemplificativo ma non esaustivo, i dati saranno condivisi con:


– soggetti che forniscono servizi per la gestione del sistema informativo usato dal Titolare del Trattamento e delle reti di telecomunicazioni; ivi compresa la posta elettronica, newsletter e gestione sito internet, gestione comunicazione e marketing, assistenza all’utilizzo della piattaforma, liberi professionisti, studi o società nell’ambito di rapporti di assistenza e consulenza;

– autorità competenti per adempimenti di obblighi di leggi e/o di disposizioni di organi pubblici, su richiesta.

L’Interessato può formulare una richiesta motivata di opposizione al trattamento dei propri dati ex art. 21 del Regolamento UE 2016/679. Il Titolare si riserva di valutare l’istanza precisando che la stessa non potrà essere accettata in caso di esistenza di interessi legittimi cogenti e prevalenti rispetto alle ragioni ed interessi dedotti dall’Interessato nella predetta istanza. Gli indirizzi da utilizzare per l’esercizio dei propri diritti sono quelli del Titolare e del DPO come sopra riportati
Il titolare si riserva il diritto di modificare, aggiornare, aggiungere o rimuovere parti della presente informativa sulla privacy a propria discrezione e in qualsiasi momento. Al fine di facilitare tale verifica l’informativa conterrà la data di aggiornamento.
